Reference Librarian Job Posting

The Grafton Public Library is accepting applications for a Reference Librarian. Responsibilities include providing reference service, computer-related assistance, and readers’ advisory services to patrons; planning and implementing programs for adults; and maintaining a diverse collection of books and audio-visual materials. We are looking for a candidate who is customer service focused, and has a strong background in computer applications as they relate to library services. Starting wage of $18.47 per hour, includes prorated benefits [Holiday, Vacation and Sick Leave pay, and Health and Dental Insurance]. This 33 hour per week position includes 2-3 evening shifts per week and rotating Saturdays. Job will begin in May 2013. Master of Library Science degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree required.
