We offer one-on-one computer and tablet help through our Book-a-Librarian service. Call 262-375-5315, and ask for Reference to make an appointment for a half-hour session.  This service offers informal assistance and will help answer questions about computer and tablet basics.

Basic Computer Skills Online Course – This is a free online course that walks you through basic computer skills. Supported by funding through the Wisconsin Technical College System.  Includes other courses to build technical skills.

New User Tutorial – Walks you through the basics of working a computer for those with no prior experience.

TechBoomers – Learn how to popular websites for free.

LearningExpress Library – offers interactive online practice tests and tutorials for computer skills, work skills, and exams, including: ACT, ASVAB, GED, GRE, Law Enforcement, LSAT, Postal workers, SAT, US Citizenship. Includes immediate scoring, answer explanation, and analysis of your results. For remote access you may have to enter your library barcode number. Click on Library Card Login in the upper-right and follow the instructions.
