Teen Advisory Board

Next Meeting:
Monday, April 1, from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.
at Grafton Public Library

All teens in 6th – 12th grade are invited to join the Grafton & Cedarburg Public Libraries’ Joint Teen Advisory Board!

WHAT DO WE DO?

The TAB’s goal is to promote library services to teens at the Grafton Public Library and within the community by:

  • Advising, planning, and implementing teen programs.
  • Promoting ideas, reading, programming, and expression by and for teens by creating bulletin boards and displays in the young adult area.
  • Recommending books, movies, music CDs, and magazines for the YA collection.

WHAT WILL I GET OUT OF IT?

  • Having a say in materials & programs for teens at the library.
  • Opportunity to be creative and expressive through art and imaginative activities.
  • Personal satisfaction in serving your community and peers.
  • Community service hours look great on college and job applications.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

    • Fill out the Grafton Public Library’s application and return it to the Children’s Circulation Desk at the Grafton Public Library.
  • Nicolette, the Young Adult Librarian, will contact you about your application and our first meeting.

If you have any questions or need more information, contact Nicolette at (262) 375-5315 or by emailing her on the email listed with the application.
